Walmart, Sam’s Club fundraising for Children’s Miracle Network

Local Walmart and Sam’s Club stores have launched their annual Children’s Miracle Network campaign and are asking customers to give back at the checkout this summer.
The register campaign runs through July 7 and customers can donate $1 or more at the register. Associates may also fundraise in other ways including bake sales, in-store contests and events.
Money raised at the Permian Basin Walmart and Sam’s Club stores stays local and goes directly to benefit the sick and injured kids treated at Medical Center Health System. Funds are used to pay for equipment, research, supplies, charitable care and a variety of other needs the hospital has.
The 2018 campaign raised $175,000 for MCHS, and Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers and members have raised more than $1.46 million throughout the Permian Basin for MCHS since 1987.
