Hispanic Heritage of Odessa, a project of LULAC of Odessa, has scheduled an Orgullo De Ser Mexicano Vaquero Breakfast, part of “Celebrando La Cultura” Hispanic Heritage Month, at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dos Amigos Restaurant, 4700 N Golder Ave.
In addition, a billboard, “Nuestro futuro punto” will also be displayed at 2760 Andrews Highway. The program will be presented by State Rep. Brooks Langraf, “Leilah Alert;” Richard C. Abalos Mariachi Scholarship Fund; Keynote: ECISD Supt. Scott Muri, Awards: Puro Corazon, LULAC Estrella, Visionary; Dr. Ben Quiroz, Corte de Lanzo, Kick off by Permian and OHS football.
