Odessa police are continuing to investigate after a fatal wreck left two dead Thursday night.
David J. Oakley, 35, and Samantha K. Cantu, 31, died in the wreck, a city of Odessa release stated.
The release stated Oakley drove a 2015 blue Harley Davidson motorcycle that was traveling south on Andrews Highway, when the motorcycle collided with the back of a stopped white Chevrolet truck at the stop light at 42nd Street.
Cantu was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle. Their names were released after next of kin were notified.
The crash occurred around 10:30 p. m. No other injuries were reported.
