True Texas BBQ Hunger Stops Here campaign

H-E-B will hold its True Texas BBQ Hunger Stops Here campaign, an annual charitable event aimed at combating hunger in the Lone Star State.

The event will be held at several True Texas BBQ restaurants, including the eateries located within the West Texas H-E-B stores at 2501 W. University Ave., in Odessa and 5407 Andrews Highway in Midland.

Throughout February, 50 cents from every transaction at both restaurants will be donated to the West Texas Food Bank. The campaign includes in-store orders as well as online orders placed through HEB.com, H-E-B Curbside, the True Texas BBQ mobile app, and the Texas To Go delivery service.

The campaign is a part of H-E-B’s Food Bank Assistance Program, which works year-round to raise awareness and battle hunger. The program was founded in 1982 and is nationally recognized for the financial donations and regular monthly deliveries of food it makes to food banks in Texas and Mexico.

True Texas BBQ features all-natural brisket, turkey, pork, and chicken, slow smoked over Texas Oak each day. Meats are available by the plate or pound and cut fresh to order along with a selection of tasty sides like brisket beans, creamed corn, potato salad and coleslaw.
