The Alamo’s Statewide Roadshow is scheduled to stop at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Haley Memorial Library & History Center, 1805 W. Indiana Ave., Midland.
The roadshow kicked off on Monday, with its first stop in El Paso, then Midland, thereafter Lubbock and Abilene, continuing to other areas of the state throughout the month. Historians and curatorial staff from the Alamo and the General Land Office will be on hand to help attendees evaluate and document stories and artifacts.
Roadshow presenters will also bring several artifacts from the Alamo and GLO Archives that will someday appear in exhibits in the forthcoming Alamo Museum and Visitor’s Center.
