Sunnova Energy: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

HOUSTON (AP) — Sunnova Energy International Inc. (NOVA) on Wednesday reported a loss of $91.8 million in its fourth quarter.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 96 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to extinguish debt, were less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.
The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 37 cents per share.
The residential solar company posted revenue of $38 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $42.4 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $252.3 million, or $2.87 per share. Revenue was reported as $160.8 million.
Sunnova Energy shares have risen 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $46.06, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
