Lead anchor and face of TNT Sports Ernie Johnson will be the featured speaker for the Centers for Children and Families event Aug. 16 at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavilion.
Johnson is also sportscaster on CBS and the NBA’s popular Fan Night, and known for leading the basketball roundtable with Charles Barkley, Shaq O’Neal and others and is the lead anchor on all of the March Madness games.
Johnson has six children, four of whom are adopted; one is a special needs young man. He also overcame his own challenge with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He is the author of “Unscripted.”
