Odessa Fire Rescue is partnering with Safe Riders for a child passenger safety seat check.
Parents and caregivers are invited to Central Fire Station May 29 to have their child’s safety seat checked by a nationally certified child passenger safety technician to determine if the seat is safe and being used correctly.
The service is free. Technicians will be available between 1 and 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 29 at Central Fire Station, 1100 West Second Street.

Safe Riders is a program sponsored by the Texas Department of State Health Services in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation to provide helpful information about child passenger safety seats.
