The Odessa Police Department will be offering its next two women’s self-defense classes on July 21 and Aug. 11.
The courses are free and are limited to the first 14 applicants.
The classes are intended for women, ages 18 or older, who want to learn basic self-defense.
The deadline to register for the first class is July 5.
Both classes will be held from 8 a.m. until noon at the OPD first floor classroom.
