The Odessa Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is looking into a bomb threat at Wal-Mart West, 2450 Northwest Loop 338 at 3:53 p.m. today (May 27).
A news release said an unknown person reported that they were going to blow up Wal-Mart.
Precautionary measures were taken and the store was evacuated, the release said.
There were no reports of any injuries and it was later determined that there was no threat to Wal-Mart.
The scene has since been cleared and the store will reopen shortly.
