OPD Honor Guard travels to Washington D.C.

The Odessa Police Department Honor Guard is currently in Washington D.C. for National Police Week, which is set aside to recognize the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement that have been killed in the line of duty. The OPD Honor Guard is part of the cordon for President Trump, as he speaks today during the 38th Annual National Peace Officer Memorial Service. The public is encouraged to replace their porch lights with blue bulbs during National Police Week.
