Odessa police responded to a rollover wreck in front of the police department Thursday after one man ran a red light, a news release stated.

Officers responded to the wreck at about 7:29 p.m. at 2nd Street and Grant Avenue.

Investigation revealed a red 2014 Toyota Tundra driven by 28-year-old Jerone Ybarra was traveling north on Grant Avenue when he ran a red light, causing his Tundra to be hit by a white 2003 Ford Explorer driven by 28-year-old Zachary Galindo. Galindo was traveling west on 2nd Street when the wreck occurred, the release stated.

The collision caused the Tundra to roll over. Ybarra was transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was cited for running the red light. There were no reports of any other injuries, the release stated.
