Police are investigating a Tuesday morning crash in Southwest Odessa that left one Midland man dead.
Officers and paramedics were called about a major crash around 1:52 a.m. Tuesday near Highway 80 and Faudree Lane, an Odessa Police Department news release stated.
A white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, being driven by 27-year-old Cody Rodriguez of Midland, was traveling east in the 7100 block of East Highway 80 and reportedly left the roadway before colliding with a pole, the release detailed.
Rodriguez was taken to Medical Center Hospital and later pronounced dead, the release stated.
No charges were filed and the crash is still under investigation.
