A 51-year-old Odessa man died early Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Loop 338.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Luis Carlos Lujan-Gameros was traveling south on Loop 338 when his Chevrolet Impala veered off the west side of the roadway 2.5 miles south of Odessa and hit a fence.
Lujan-Gameros was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which took place shortly before 1 a.m.. His 30-year-old passenger, another Odessa resident, was treated at Medical Center Hospital and released, DPS said.
