Cynthia M. Moreno has filed to run for Ector County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, in the March Republican Primary. That office is currently held by Missi Walden, who also will seek a second term as JP.
A news release details that Moreno was born in Odessa and has worked as a legal assistant and office manager for attorney Michael McLeaish for 32 years. She plans a public announcement at 3 p.m. Thursday, at the Ector County Annex, 1010 East Eighth St.
