The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has scheduled Making Cancer History Seminar from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 10 at the Midland Petroleum Club, 501 W. Wall St.

The free seminar, underwritten by The Henry Foundation, is open to the public and includes lunch.

Doors open at 11 a.m.

Presentations will feature oncologists Dr. Peter WT Pisters, M.D., president of MD Anderson; Dr. Richard Gorlick, M.D., division head of pediatrics; and Dr. Lois Ramondetta, M.D., professor of gynecologic oncology and reproductive medicine.

Lymphoma survivor Becca Clinch of Midland will share her experience as a patient at MD Anderson. The program also includes a brief question-and-answer session with the physicians.
