Today is the first day registered voters can apply for a mail-in ballot for the March 6, 2018, Primary Election. To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must:
• Be 65 years or older.
• Be disabled.
• Be out of the county on Election Day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance.
• Be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, Feb. 23. If you are not a registered voter, the last day to register to vote is Monday, Feb. 5. For more information about applying for a ballot by mail, visit the link below.
