The Black Cultural Council of Odessa (BCCO) has scheduled the 2018 Juneteenth Celebration on Tuesday at Woodson Park, 1020 E. Murphy St.
Events include youth games in the park from 9 a.m. to noon at the north pavilion; annual Juneteenth Picnic (bring lawn chairs) from noon to 1:30 p.m.; Health Fair from noon to 4 p.m. at the main stage; Shout Cheerleading from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the main stage; and Mark Lyon’s True to Soul Band performance from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the main stage.
Food vendors will be on site.
