Jennie Lou Leeder for U.S. Congressional Seat for Texas District 11 will be in Odessa for a Meet & Greet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the La Bodega Upstairs Lounge, 1024 E. Seventh St.
Leeder is a passionate leader on healthcare, education, infrastructure, the environment and safety. She has been a coach, educator, businesswoman and the Llano County Democratic Chair since 2007. She was elected Democratic Senate District 24 Chairwoman in 2014 and has served on the Urban County Subcommittee, Rural Subcommittee and Legislative Committee.
Leeder is not accepting money from special interest or corporate financers. All monies are from individual donors. As a seventh generation Texan, Leeder prides herself on being Texas strong and knows the meaning of Texas values. Her family farm was awarded Texas Century Farm Award in 1992. She has a vested interest in local farms and farmers.
