The City of Odessa will host a groundbreaking at 1:30 p.m., Monday for the new Fire Station No. 6 at the southwest corner of Pembroke and Grandview (to the West of Buffalo Wild Wings). The event is open to the public.
The new fire station is one of several projects being paid for by $93 million certificates of obligation approved by city council in 2019. The CO funds are also being used to build a new animal shelter currently under construction.
