Georgia man dead after Reeves County rollover

A Georgia man is dead after single-vehicle vehicle rollover Saturday in Reeves County about 16 miles west of Toyah.

David Garner, 37, of Powder Springs, Ga., was pronounced dead at Reeves County Hospital after the 1995 Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving failed to negotiate a curve, left the roadway, then overcorrected and rolled around 8:15 a.m. on I-20 near mile marker 206, a release from the Texas Department of Public Safety stated.

Passenger Brandon Landry, 31, of Newbury Park, Calif., was taken to Medical Center Hospital with incapacitating injuries, the release stated.

No other injuries were reported.
