The fourth annual Hot Dog Run (5K and 1 mile) has been scheduled at 8 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Allison Fine Arts Building at Midland College, 3600 N. Garfield St., Midland.
Registration starts at 7 a.m.
There will be pet contests, bounce houses, inflatables, face painting, vendor booths, a microchip clinic and prizes after the race.
Children and leashed, vaccinated dogs are welcome to take part in the race festivities.
Profits will go toward operational expenses at the Enhanced Adoption Center within Midland’s PetSmart and the Capital Campaign to build the Van and Joe Mabee Wellness and Treatment Center.
