1. The Odessa Police Department is investigating a northeast Odessa Sunday night shooting that left a 20-year-old man dead after police say he forced his way inside of an apartment.


2. Students at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin STEM Academy got a glimpse of U.S. Rep. Mike Conaway as a person Monday when he talked to them about his background and took questions.


3. A 15-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony, following a stabbing at Permian High School on Monday.


4. Odessa Fire Rescue is investigating a house fire that caused the death of one woman Sunday.


5. IN SPORTS: The Permian Panthers (28-3) open the Class 6A boys basketball playoffs with a bi-district matchup against El Paso Coronado (18-11) at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Pecos High School. The Odessa High Bronchos are back in the boys basketball playoffs after a one-year absence, and this time they want to hang around for a while.
