Solve a murder, help the Red Cross

The Permian Basin Apartment Association will help out the American Red Cross serving the Permian Basin when they host a Valentine’s Interactive Theater fundraiser.

The Valentine’s Day event features an interactive theater and dinner. The professional improv group, the Murder Mystery Company, performs mysteries across the nation. Interactive theater is an immersive experience that includes the audience in the play. That means that anyone can be a witness, a suspect, a detective or even the murderer.

The theme of this party is “’Til Death Do Us Part.” Keeping with a Valentine’s Day theme, attendees will attend a wedding reception where the “murder” occurs. Party-goers will be served a delicious dinner and devious murder mystery that includes everyone in the room.

Sponsorships, tables, and individual tickets are available through the Permian Basin Apartment Association by calling 432-563-1278. The event is scheduled 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1301 N. Loop 250 in Midland.

Proceeds benefit the American Red Cross Serving the Permian Basin. The Red Cross responds to home fires and provides comfort and financial assistance to residents of the Permian Basin.

The Murder Mystery website details that shows are typically two and a half hours and that the dress code is “dress to the theme of the show.” Guests should arrive 30 minutes early. Guests will have time twice to gather clues and attempt to solve the crime.
