The Evangeline Country Cat Fanciers Show is coming to Houston on March 2 though 4 where exhibitors from all over the world will share the love of cats.

This event, associated with The International Cat Association headquartered in Harlingen, administers the rules for the licensing and management of hundreds of cat shows annually across the globe and in 104 countries.

TICA currently recognizes 71 breeds of cats from the ancient Abyssinian to the newer breeds like the Lykoi cat, and including wild looking Chausie, Bengals and Savannah.

This season’s location will be the Houston Marriot North, where exotic felines will be competing and posing for internationally renowned judges, aiming to win championship titles and points towards the prize of the Best Cat In The World, according to a news release.

Tickets will be available from the LondonCats’ website and at the event. The Evangeline Country Cat Fanciers Cat Show is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 4 at the Houston Marriott North, 255 N.
