The Odessa College Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Zant Community Room of the Saulsbury Campus Center to review the proposed budget for the 2021-22 fiscal year.
In August 2021, the board approved a $51,171,749 million budget for 2020-2021. The tax rate was set in September 2020 and was .188965 per $100 valuation.
There will be a Property Committee report on approval of a Sports Center sound system and replacement of Sports Center emergency lighting.
Other items include:
>> An education report with COVID-19 relief funds updates; an institutional effectiveness report; and a Vision 2030+ update.
The president’s report from President Gregory Williams will include the Odessa College Preview Fair day; Bridge programs at OCTECHS and Odessa Collegiate Academy; Odessa College pantry gardens updates; post of the week; Strong and Smart Start to fall 2021; and OC 8K (the goal being to get 8,000 students at OC).
