ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS May 20, 2019

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated. 

ABANDON/ENDANGER CHILD

  • Ember Delise Lajuanie, 22, had three counts of abandoning or endangering a child and charges of abandoning a child under circumstances that would place the child in imminent danger of bodily injury; possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram; credit card or debit card abuse; and theft of property, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, dismissed May 13 because she pleaded guilty to charges in another case. Judge Stacy Trotter and Judge John Smith presided. Michael McLeaish was the defense attorney.
  • Amy Lynn Rollman, 27, pleaded guilty May 14 to abandoning or endangering a child with criminal negligence and was sentenced to six months in state jail. Smith approved the deal. Jason Schoel was the defense attorney.

ASSAULT 

  • Jeramiah David Hall, 27, pleaded guilty May 9 to two counts of assault on a public servant and was sentenced to four years in prison. Hall also had a charge of theft of property, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, dismissed as part of the deal. Trotter approved the deal. Marc Chastain was the defense attorney.
  • Daniel Sanchez Navarrete, 28, pleaded guilty May 9 to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence) and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. McLeaish was the defense attorney.
  • Nohemi Lozano Medina, 34, pleaded guilty May 13 to assault of a public servant and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Smith approved the deal. Jason Leach was the defense attorney. 

BURGLARY 

  • Chrystal Lynn Garcia, 38, pleaded guilty May 9 to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to eight years probation and deferred adjudication. Trotter approved the deal. Bret Mansur was the defense attorney.
  • Carlos Ramirez Mendez, 40, pleaded guilty May 10 to burglary of a vehicle with two or more previous convictions and was sentenced to 13 months in state jail. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Noel Gonzalez was the defense attorney.
  • Alexander Parra III, 25, pleaded guilty May 13 to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Smith approved the deal. Mansur was the defense attorney. 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 

  • Mark Andrew Salinas, 33, pleaded guilty May 9 to two counts of driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Justin Low was the defense attorney.
  • David Allen Sarakas, 39, pleaded guilty May 9 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years probation. Trotter approved the deal. Low was the defense attorney.
  • Jaime Vargas, 40, pleaded guilty May 9 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Trotter approved the deal. Leach was the defense attorney.
  • Sergio Guzman Carrasco, 36, pleaded guilty May 13 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to five years probation. Smith approved the deal. Robert Garcia was the defense attorney. 

EVADING ARREST 

  • Michael Edward Beseril, 35, was convicted guilty by a jury May 7 for evading arrest with a vehicle and was sentenced to 35 years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Josh Stephens was the defense attorney.
  • Lacy John Connally, 50, pleaded guilty May 8 to evading arrest with a previous conviction and was sentenced to 369 days in state jail. Connally was given credit for time served. Whalen approved the deal. Chastain was the defense attorney.
  • David Antonio Rodriguez, 19, pleaded guilty May 8 to evading arrest with a vehicle and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Christina Jimenez was the defense attorney.
  • Luis Otilio Amancio, 27, pleaded guilty May 9 to evading arrest with a vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle and was sentenced to 10 years in prison and two years in state jail, respectively, on those charges. Trotter approved the deal. Low was the defense attorney.
  • Kayla Guillen, 20, pleaded guilty May 13 to evading arrest with a vehicle or watercraft and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Smith approved the deal. John Shrode was the defense attorney. 

INDECENCY WITH CHILD 

  • Modesto Ellis, 23, pleaded guilty May 9 to indecency with a child by sexual contact and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Jeanne Morales was the defense attorney.
  • Octavio Silva, 24, pleaded guilty May 9 to indecency with a child by sexual contact (family violence) and was sentenced to two years in prison. Silva also had a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child (family violence) dismissed as part of the deal. Whalen approved the deal. Low was the defense attorney. 

INJURY TO CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED 

  • Zykia Charalle Green, 19, had a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury dismissed May 8 because he pleaded to a misdemeanor. Whalen presided. McLeaish was the defense attorney.
  • Pablo Gutierrez, 22, pleaded guilty May 9 to recklessly causing bodily or mental injury to a child, elderly or disabled person and was sentenced to seven years probation and deferred adjudication. Gutierrez also had three counts of indecency with a child and a charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact dismissed as part of the deal. Whalen approved the deal. McLeaish was the defense attorney. 

MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Armando Tapia Molina, 32, pleaded guilty May 8 to manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Molina also had a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair dismissed. Whalen approved the deal. Israel Guardiola was the defense attorney. 

ONLINE SOLICITATION OF MINOR

  • Peyton Wayne Coffman, 26, pleaded guilty May 10 to online solicitation of a minor (sexual conduct) and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Rush approved the deal. Leach was the defense attorney.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 

  • Isaac Michael Beseril, 18, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), five pounds or less but more than four ounces, dismissed May 8. Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
  • Mark Anthony Ledesma, 36, pleaded guilty May 8 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Mansur was the defense attorney.
  • Thomas Duncan Trussell Jr., 62, pleaded guilty May 8 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. Spencer Dobbs was the defense attorney.
  • Mercedes Adrianna Mireles, 22, pleaded guilty May 9 to possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to five years probation. Trotter approved the deal. Chavez was the defense attorney.
  • Damien Dubree Smith, 36, pleaded guilty May 9 to possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, and was sentenced to six years in prison. Smith also had a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear dismissed as part of the deal. Trotter approved the deal. Mansur was the defense attorney.
  • Adriana Parra Urias, 31, pleaded guilty May 9 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 180 days in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the defense attorney.
  • Blake Joshua Williams, 35, pleaded guilty May 10 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. Rush approved the deal. Shrode was the defense attorney.
  • Victor Hugo Moreno-Ramos, 28, pleaded guilty May 13 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 208 days in state jail. Moreno-Ramos was given credit for time served. Smith approved the deal. Chavez was the defense attorney. 

ROBBERY

  • Dante Nathaniel Flores, 21, pleaded guilty May 9 to robbery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Flores also had a charge of assault on a security officer dismissed. Whalen approved the deal. Chris Fostel was the defense attorney.

SEX ASSAULT OF CHILD

  • Francisco Ruiz, 42, pleaded guilty May 8 to aggravated sexual assault of a child and was sentenced to five years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Theresa Caballero was the defense attorney. 

THEFT

  • Luis Nabarrette, 20, pleaded guilty May 8 to theft and was sentenced to 14 months in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. Mansur was the defense attorney. 

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Donny Ray Roberts, 28, pleaded guilty May 9 to unauthorized use of a vehicle and was sentenced to six months in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. Low was the defense attorney. Dane Nathaniel Flores, 21, pleaded guilty May 9 to robbery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Flores also had a charge of assault on a security officer dismissed. Whalen approved the deal. Chris Fostel was the defense attorney.
