The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.
ASSAULT
- Walter Aguirre, 39, had a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed May 22. Judge James Rush presided. Kevin Acker was the defense attorney.
- Fernando Rey Fernandez, 42, pleaded guilty May 23 to assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation (family violence) and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
- Jeremiah Villanueva Jurado, 31, pleaded guilty May 23 to two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence) and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
- Joseph Michael Map Jr., 22, pleaded guilty May 23 to assault by strangulation (family violence) and was sentenced to three years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Don Fletcher was the defense attorney.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
- Cameron Ruiz, 30, had a charge of criminal mischief, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000, dismissed May 22 because he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge. Judge Stacy Trotter presided. Jason Leach was the defense attorney.
DEADLY CONDUCT
- Jamin Shavon Davis, 23, pleaded guilty May 23 to four counts of deadly conduct and was sentenced to eight years probation. Whalen approved the deal. Michael McLeaish was the defense attorney.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
- Shey Glen Marler, 48, pleaded guilty May 28 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to five years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Tommy Hull was the defense attorney.
- Ricardo Moreno, 39, pleaded guilty May 28 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Trotter approved the deal. Calixtro Villarreal was the defense attorney.
ENDANGERING A CHILD
- Yvonne Marie Garcia, 38, pleaded guilty May 28 to endangering a child with criminal negligence and was sentenced to five years probation. Trotter approved the deal. Justin Low was the defense attorney.
EVADING ARREST
- Darrell Torino Ford, 28, pleaded guilty May 17 to evading arrest with a previous conviction and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. Ford also had a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear dismissed as part of the deal. Rush approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
- Luis Ortega Anzures, 48, pleaded guilty May 22 to evading arrest with a vehicle and driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to six years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Matt Byrne was the defense attorney.
- David Michael Galindo, 33, pleaded guilty May 28 to evading arrest with a vehicle; possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to five years in prison and 15 months in state jail, respectively, on those charges. FRAUDULENT POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION
- Megan Lynn Hamrick, 26, had a charge of fraudulent possession of identifying information and four counts of theft of a credit or debit card dismissed May 17. Rush presided. Adrian Chavez was the defense attorney.
MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Mario Nevarez, 17, pleaded guilty May 28 to manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Trotter approved the deal. Low was the defense attorney.
- Amy Lynn Rollman, 27, had a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, dismissed May 28 as part of a plea agreement when she pleaded guilty to charges in another case. Rush presided. The defense attorney was not listed.

- Vanessa Villa Chavez, 35, pleaded guilty May 28 to four counts of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions and was sentenced to 14 months in state jail. Trotter approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
