ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: June 27, 2022

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ABANDON ENDANGER CHILD

Tomas R. Gomez, 43, had an abandon endanger child intentional/knowing/reckless/criminal neglect charge dismissed June 22. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

ASSAULT

Daniel Juarez, 29, had an aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury charge dismissed June 16. Judge Justin Low presided.

Dominic Eduardo Armendarez, 30, had an intoxication assault with vehicle serious bodily injury charge dismissed June 16. Judge Justin Low presided.

Ja Quinn Green, 26, pleaded guilty June 8 to assault public servant and was sentenced to eight years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

James Richard Cox, 37, had his probation revoked June 7 on the charge of assault by strangulation (Fv) and was sentenced to two years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the attorney.

Jorge Arma Vega, 34, had an assault family/house member impeded breath/circulation (FV) charge dismissed June 8. Judge Justin Low presided.

Kelly Dshon Bennett, 47, was convicted Sept. 15, 2021 on the charge of assault family/household member previous conviction IAT and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Judge Tryon D. Lewis approved the deal. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

Melissa Ontiveros, 43, pleaded guilty June 22 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon (Fv)(F2) and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Roy Monteze Johnson, 31, had his probation revoked June 10 on the charge of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to six years in prison. Judge James Rush presided. Feliz Abalos was the attorney.

Tristan Rashaud Carson, 30, pleaded guilty June 13 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

BURGLARY

Joseph D. Dutchover, 48, had a burglary of a building (Sjf) charge dismissed June 16. Judge Justin Low presided.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Jeffrey Lucas Armendariz, 31, pleaded guilty June 20 to criminal mischief, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000 and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

DWI

Guadalupe Cruz, III, 37, pleaded guilty June 21 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to two years in probation. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Yvette Munoz Martinez, 46, had her probation revoked May 31 on the charge of driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and was sentenced to 10 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST

George Sanchez, 54, pleaded guilty June 17 to evading arrest detain with vehicle and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

Raymond Anthony Vega, 36, had an evading arrest detain with vehicle charge dismissed June 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

Xzavier Kerry Joseph, 22, pleaded guilty June 1 to evading arrest detain with vehicle and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Dennis Jones was the attorney.

FAIL TO STOP AND RENDER AID

Adrian Guerra, 36, pleaded guilty June 21 to fail to stop and render aid (resulting in bodily injury) and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Kelsey Jewell Robbins was the attorney.

INDECENCY WITH CHILD SEXUAL CONTACT

Cesar Castillo-Gonzales, 30, was granted community discharge and dismissal June 20 on the charge of indecency with child sexual contact. Judge John W. Smith presided. J. Roxane Blount was the attorney.

Nathanel Gonzales, 20, pleaded guilty June 20 to indecency with child sexual contact and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Timothy J. Mason was the attorney.

INJURY CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLE WITH INTENT BODILY INJURY

Christopher Ornelas Lopez, 25, had an injury child/elderly/disabled reckless bodily injury charge dismissed June 22. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

Taunell Elysia Moore, 41, had an injury child/elderly/disable with intent bodily injury (FV) charge dismissed June 20. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

MANUFACTURE DELIVERY

Lizeth Gomez Lujan, 35, had a manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, charge dismissed June 16. Judge James Rush presided.

Manuel Angel Carrion, 24, had a manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, charge dismissed June 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

Nichole Alexandrya Pittman, 36, had a manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams. Judge Justin Low presided.

Roger Dale Schiele, 28, had a manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, charge dismissed June 20. Justin Low approved the deal.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Adiel Amesquita, 37, pleaded guilty June 8 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to two years probation and two years in state jail (suspended). Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Adolfo Ornelas Valles, 40, had a possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, charge dismissed June 16. Judge Justin Low presided.

Alfredo Chavez, 45, had a possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, charge dismissed June 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

Alfredo Olvera Ramirez, 40, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal June 14 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Judge James Rush presided. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

Alfredo Rivas, 56, pleaded guilty June 8 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to two years probation and 12 months in state jail (suspended). Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Guadalupe Garcia Gutierrez, 39, pleaded guilty June 8 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low presided.

Heiddy Gardea Frias, 41, pleaded guilty June 17 to possession of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

Javier Franco Sandoval, 43, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal June 22 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Joseph Roy Flanagan, 43, had a possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, charge dismissed June 17. Judge Justin Low presided.

Kavery Bernard Green, 34, had a possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, charge dismissed June 17. Judge James Rush presided.

ROBBERY

Brianna Nicole Gardner, 28, pleaded guilty June 20 to aggravated robbery (F1) and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Justin Low approved the deal.

Peter Anthony Armijo, 24, pleaded guilty June 13 to two counts of aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 20 years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Luis A. Chavez was the attorney.

Robert Alonzo Thornton, 86, pleaded guilty June 8 to robbery and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

SEXUAL ASSAULT

Althia Denise Ellison, 28, had six counts of aggravated sexual assault child charge dismissed June 13. Judge Denn Whalen presided.

Althia Denise Ellison, 28, pleaded guilty June 13 to sex abuse of child continuous: victim under 14 and was sentenced to 40 years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Jesus Mendoza, 23, had a sexual assault charge dismissed June 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

Nathanel Gonzales, 20, had an aggravated sexual assault of child charge dismissed June 20. Judge Justin Low presided. Timothy J. Mason was the attorney.

Peyton Wayne Coffman, 29, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal June 13 on the charge of online solicit of a minor sexual conduct. Judge James Rush presided. Jason Leach was the attorney.

Ross Anthony Bertrand, 32, had a sexual assault of a child charge dismissed June 17. Judge Justin Low presided.

STALKING

Ricky Dain Rodgers, 27, pleaded June 21 to stalking (F3) and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

TAMPER/FABRICATE

Jairo Allen Franco, 30, pleaded guilty June 22 to tampering with evidence and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Kenneth Adaryll Arnett, 38, pleaded guilty June 22 on the charge of lesser included offense of attempted tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and was sentenced to 180 days in state jail. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

THEFT

Bryant Flores Ramirez, 38, pleaded guilty June 7 to theft property, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000 (SJF) and was sentenced to 10 months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Ada Nwaneri was the attorney.

Gary Eugene Hills, 55, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal June 14 on the charge of theft property, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000. Judge James Rush presided. Justin Wayne Low was the attorney.

Terry Ann Talamantes, 53, pleaded guilty June 17 to theft property, less than $2,000, two more previous convictions and was sentenced to 14 months in state jail. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

Ashton Clay Savoie, 32, was granted community discharge and dismissal June 20 on the charge of unauthorized use of vehicle. Judge John Shrode presided. Marc Chastain was the attorney.
