ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: June 17

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

 

ASSAULT

  • Jerry Cuellar, 20, pleaded guilty June 5 to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to eight years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
  • Jorge Garcia, 39, pleaded guilty June 5 to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence) and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Chris Fostel was the defense attorney.
  • Juan Jose Jimenez Jr., 39, pleaded guilty June 5 to assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation and was sentenced to four years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Kevin Acker was the defense attorney.
  • Dominique Xzdrian Krumnow, 26, pleaded guilty June 5 to assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction and was sentenced to three years in prison. Judge Stacy Trotter approved the deal. Fostel was the defense attorney.
  • James David McCurdy, 54, pleaded guilty June 5 to assault on a public servant and was sentenced to five years in prison. McCurdy also had a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair dismissed as part of the deal. Judge John Smith approved the deal. Michael McLeaish was the defense attorney.
  • Rosa Linda Montoya-Flores, 36, pleaded guilty June 5 to assault by strangulation (family violence) and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Don Fletcher was the defense attorney.
  • Brandi Renee Jacobs Moore, 46, had a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed June 5 because the victim would not cooperate with the prosecution and the case could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Smith presided. Adrian Chavez was the defense attorney.
  • Gabriel Martinez, 39, pleaded guilty June 6 to assault on a peace officer causing bodily injury and was sentenced to three years in prison. Martinez also had charges of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram; and criminal mischief, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000 dismissed as part of the deal.   • Michael David Vaden, 31, pleaded guilty June 6 to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence) and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Laura Carpenter was the defense attorney.
  • Dontea Deion George, 23, had charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and deadly conduct dismissed June 10 because the victim would not cooperate with the prosecution of the case. Smith presided. Justin Low was the defense attorney.
  • Andrew Villafranco, 23, pleaded guilty June 11 to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Lawrence Barber Jr. was the defense attorney.

 

BURGLARY

  • Damon Andre Alford, 24, pleaded guilty June 5 to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to 10 years probation. Alford also had four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed as part of the deal. Smith approved the deal. Barber was the defense attorney.
  • Tiffany Leann Guerra, 27, pleaded guilty June 5 to burglary of a habitation and was sentenced to eight years probation and deferred adjudication. Trotter approved the deal. Jason Leach was the defense attorney.
  • Santos Uvalle, 24, pleaded guilty June 6 to burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony and was sentenced to seven years probation and deferred adjudication. Smith approved the deal. McLeaish was the defense attorney.

 

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

  • Guillermo Raspall Gonzalez, 35, had a charge of credit card or debit card abuse dismissed June 5 due to insufficient evidence. Smith presided. Robert Garcia was the defense attorney.
  • Rosenda Carrillo Rios, 28, pleaded guilty June 5 to debit card abuse and was sentenced to 16 months in state jail. Rios also had a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear dismissed as part of the deal. Trotter approved the deal. Leach was the defense attorney.

 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

  • Daylan Keith Reed, 25, was sentenced to 13 months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt May 16 on a charge of criminal mischief, $2,500 or more but less than $30,000. Trotter approved the deal. Fletcher was the defense attorney.

 

DEADLY CONDUCT

  • Sy Manuel Rodriguez, 30, pleaded guilty June 5 to four counts of deadly conduct and was sentenced to eight years probation. Whalen approved the deal. McLeaish was the defense attorney.

 

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Sean Michael Flores, 27, pleaded guilty June 5 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to three years in prison. Flores also had a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, dismissed as part of the deal. Smith approved the deal. Sara Spector was the defense attorney.
  • Jose Delores Garcia Jr., 47, pleaded guilty June 6 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Gary Garrison was the defense attorney.

 

EVADING ARREST

  • Xavion Quinta Fuller, 28, pleaded guilty June 5 to two counts of evading arrest with a previous conviction and a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 15 months in state jail. Fuller also had two counts of bail jumping and failure to appear dismissed as part of the deal. Trotter approved the deal. Leach was the defense attorney.
  • Tyree Rashand James, 30, pleaded guilty June 5 to evading arrest with a vehicle and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and was sentenced to four years in prison. Trotter approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.
  • Ricky Lee Ralston, 27, pleaded guilty June 5 to evading arrest with a previous conviction and was sentenced to 15 months in state jail. Trotter approved the deal. Fostel was the defense attorney.
  • Christopher Huerta Ramirez, 49, pleaded guilty June 5 to evading arrest with a previous conviction and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Trotter approved the deal. Matt Thomas was the defense attorney.

 

FAILURE TO STOP/RENDER AID

  • Tim Allen Taylor, 61, pleaded guilty June 6 to failure to stop and render aid and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Fletcher was the defense attorney.

 

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

  • Warren Harper, 40, pleaded guilty June 5 to fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, between five and 10 items, and was sentenced to two years in prison. Harper also had a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, dismissed as part of the deal. Smith approved the deal. INDECENCY WITH CHILD

  • Floyd Lee Pierce, 55, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt May 23 on a charge of indecency with a child. Whalen approved the deal. Bret Mansur was the defense attorney.

ROBBERY

  • Alonso Hernandez, 19, pleaded guilty June 5 to aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the defense attorney.

  • James Thomas Allen, 29, pleaded guilty June 5 to tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication.
