Woman facing felony charge after biting parents’ fingers

The Odessa Police Department charged a woman Sunday after she reportedly bit the fingers of her parents during an argument, an OPD press release stated.

Police responded to the incident around 6:35 p.m. Sunday in the 3700 block of Everglade Avenue, the release detailed.

Upon arrival, police reported in the affidavit both parents had been bit by their daughter, 43-year-old Danielle Susan, and were bleeding from their hands.

The parents, both in their 70s, told police Susan had bit them while they were trying to get her to stop arguing with her boyfriend over the phone, the report said.

Susan was charged with two counts of injury to the elderly, a third-degree felony, and also had a prior warrant out of Nolan County for possession of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony.

Jail records show Susan was taken to the Ector County Detention Center Monday on three bonds totaling $45,000.
