Woman charged with threatening boyfriend with knife

A woman was arrested last weekend and charged with threatening her boyfriend with a knife.

Aubry Clay, 25, was arrested shortly after midnight Saturday morning and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

An OPD release stated that investigation revealed that Clay was arguing with her boyfriend, a 25-year-old man, in a residence in the 900 block of East Monahans Street, when Clay punched him in the chin with a closed fist, then retrieved a knife and held it against his stomach and demanded for him to give her a cell phone.

Clay was arrested and charged.
