A 50-year-old woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after reportedly stabbing her boyfriend’s face with a razor.
On Dec. 30, Odessa police responded to a report of a stab victim at Crestview Apartments, 1103 West University Boulevard. Officers made contact with a 58-year-old man with serious bodily injuries on his face, an OPD news release said.
The man told police he got into an argument with his girlfriend, 50-year-old Marilyn Johnson, who then cut him in the face with a razor. Johnson fled the scene before police arrived, the release said.
The man was transported to Medical Center Hospital with serious bodily injury. Detectives obtained a warrant for Johnson who was eventually charged and arrested accordingly and transported to the Ector County Law Enforcement Center, the release said.
