The Odessa Police Department is investigating two reported shootings at two different apartment complexes Monday.

Both shootings are believed to be unrelated and there were no reports of any injuries in either incident, an OPD press release said.

Police were first called to High Plains Apartments, 3727 Andrews Highway, around 12:41 p.m. Monday about shots being fired.

Officers talked to four complainants, who said they heard several shots being fired and felt something strike their vehicle while they were sitting inside of it, the release stated.

Damage could be seen on the bottom rear bumper near the exhaust, the release detailed, and several casings and bullets were found in the complex.

A fifth complainant told officers a bullet had entered his apartment and struck his dining room wall before ricocheting onto the dining room table and floor, the release said, and officers could see the bullet hole in the wall of the apartment.

Several witnesses reported seeing a fight in the complex right before the shooting occurred, the release stated, and the suspects reportedly then entered a white 2014 GMC Sierra and a white 2011 Chevrolet sedan.

The GMC Sierra reportedly began chasing the sedan around the complex, with a black man shooting several rounds out of the passenger window of the truck, the release said.

At least four suspects were involved, the release stated: A black man in his early 20s, about 6 feet and 2 inches tall and 140 pounds; a Hispanic man in his late 20s, about 5 feet and 5 inches tall and 160 pounds; a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5 feet and 1 inch tall and 180 pounds; and a black man in his early 20s, about 5 feet and 11 inches tall.
