The Odessa Police Department is searching for two suspects who reportedly stole a $250 iPod from a vehicle.

Police were first called about a subject with a gun around 4 a.m. on Dec. 21 in the 2900 block of Century Ave., an OPD press release stated.

Two men reportedly burglarized a blue 2014 Chevrolet 2500, one was seen entering the vehicle while the second suspect served as a lookout, the release detailed.

When the victim confronted the suspect inside the vehicle, the suspect began running across the street and then southbound in the 2900 block of North Century Avenue.

While being chased by the victim, the suspect fired one round at the victim, the release stated. No injuries were reported, and the victim told police the suspects had stolen a $250 iPod from his truck.

OPD describes the first suspect as a Hispanic male, around 18 years of age, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, with a thin build, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark pants. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, around 18 years of age, 5 feet and 10 inches tall and 140 pounds, wearing a large jacket that possibly said “Texas”, a dark colored beanie with circular stripes on it, gray sweat pants and black shoes.
