Police are searching for a suspect who stole another person’s key fob and house keys at Walmart last month.

Officers were first called about the theft around 11:35 p.m. on Feb. 27 at Walmart, 2450 Loop 338, an Odessa Police Department news release stated.

The complainant told police when she went to put groceries into their car, they noticed their keys were missing, the release detailed, and found them gone went they went back to the cashier.

Surveillance footage showed the next person in line putting the victim’s key fob and house keys into her purse, the release stated.
