OPD charge one theft suspect, one still wanted

The Odessa Police Department arrested and charged one woman last week accused of stealing from Target and are searching for one more suspect.

Police first responded to the theft March 31 at Target, 3909 East 42nd St., after two women stole about $1,830 worth of merchandise from the store.

Thanks to an Odessa Crime Stoppers tip, officers identified the two suspects as 33-year-old Bobbi Jo Jasso and 23-year-old Shelby Burke, an OPD news release stated.

Jasso turned herself in and was charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor, and Burke is still wanted.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Burke to call OPD at 432-333-3641 or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS and reference case number 18-9000208.
