Police charged a man after he reportedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl earlier this month.
Police were called about an indecent exposure around 7:31 p.m. on March 13 in northeast Odessa, an Odessa Police Department news release stated.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the 16-year-old victim and 27-year-old Jonathon Lujan.
Lujan reportedly sexually assaulted the girl, the release detailed, and told officers he knew the victim was 16 years old.
Police charged Lujan with sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.
Jail records show Lujan was taken to the Ector County Detention Center on Sunday and was released the next day on a $25,000 bond.
