A 46-year-old man is listed in stable condition at Medical Center Hospital after a stabbing in Odessa on Thursday, according to a press release put out by the Ector County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.
A female juvenile was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and taken to the Ector County Youth Center.
The victim was stabbed twice during the altercation, which took place around 1:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of Hays Road west of Odessa.
The release states officers were dispatched regarding a disturbance as an altercation escalated from verbal to physical. The release states early information indicated the victim had been stabbed with a screwdriver, but it was later determined to have been a knife.
