The Odessa Police Department is seeking information after a woman reported being robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday morning in northeast Odessa.

An Odessa police release states that a 58-year-old woman reported that she was struck, threatened with a gun and robbed by an unknown man as she walked through the Brady Station Apartments complex on East 52nd Street before 4 a.m. Tuesday.

The release describes the suspect as being a Hispanic male in his 20s, wearing a tan long-sleeve hoodie and dark-colored pants, standing about 5-foot-8 and weighing about 160 pounds.

The release states that OPD investigation revealed that the victim was walking from her car through the complex when she was approached by the man, who grabbed her by the neck and wrapped his left arm around her before striking her in the mouth. The suspect then pointed a gun at the victim and demanded all of her money, before taking her cell phone, cash, credit cards and other personal documents then fleeing the scene, the release details.
