ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: May 31, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ABANDON ENDANGER CHILD WITH INTENT TO RETURN

Angelica Maria Reyes, 41, was granted community supervision dismissal and discharge May 20 on the charge of abandon endanger child with intent to return. Judge John W. Smith presided. Marc Chastain was the attorney.

ASSAULT

Donald Ray Daniels, 34, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed May 21. Judge James Rush presided. Daniel Sarabia Jr. was the attorney.

Hai Phu Nguyen, 50, was acquitted by jury May 18 on two counts of aggravated assault with deadline weapon. Judge John Shrode presided. Lane Andrew Haygood was the attorney.

James Weldon Redic, 59, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed May 26. Judge Justin Low presided. Michael Louis McLeaish was the attorney.

Jirus J. Davis, 31, was granted community supervision dismissal and discharge May 20 on the charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon FV. Smith presided. Spencer Dobbs was the attorney.

John Phillip Sanchez, 35, had two counts of assault public servant (F3) charges dismissed May 20. Shrode presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Noah Antonio Talamantes, 20, pleaded guilty May 26 to two counts of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Rush approved the deal. Michael Louis McLeaish was the attorney.

DWI

James Bradley Marsh, 50, pleaded guilty May 26 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to eight years probation and eight years in prison (suspended). Rush approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Joe Nolan Taylor, 55, pleaded guilty May 26 to driving while intoxicated (F3) and was sentenced to five years in prison. Rush approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

ENGAGE IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

Arron Allen McIntosh, 26, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal May 25 on the charge of engage in organized criminal activity. Smith presided. Adrian Chavez was the attorney.

Nathaniel Thomas Salgado, 23, pleaded guilty May 25 to evading arrest detain with a vehicle and was sentenced to three years to prison. Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST

Jesus Manuel Armendariz, 72, pleaded guilty May 21 to evading arrest detain with a vehicle and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Rush approved the deal. Robert V. Garcia was the attorney.

Quency Allen Kendall, 42, pleaded guilty May 26 to evading arrest detain with a vehicle and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Rush approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Sedric Tyrone Toppins, 48, had an evading arrest with vehicle charge dismissed May 21. Low presided. Marc Chastain was the attorney.

FAIL TO COMPLY SEX OFF DUTY TO REGISTER

Sarah Jean Dossey, 31, pleaded guilty May 18 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, (F3) and was sentenced to three years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Whalen approved the deal. Spencer Dobbs was the attorney.
