ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: May 3, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ASSAULT

Andrea Andrade, 33, had her probation revoked April 16 on the charge of intoxication assault with a vehicle SBI (F3) and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge James Rush presided. Kevin Acker was the attorney.

Drexler McCaffrey, 28, pleaded guilty April 28 to intoxication assault and was sentenced to 10 years probation and 10 years in prison (suspended). Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Justin Jermaine Gomez, 36, had an assault public servant charge dismissed April 27. Judge Justin Low presided.

Katelyn Kathleen MacDonald, 25, had an assault public servant charge dismissed April 27. Low presided. Jason Leach was the attorney.

Michael Anthony Baker, 46, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon (F2) charge dismissed April 26. Whalen presided. Justin Wayne Low was the attorney.

CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

Luis Aceves Ramirez, 25, pleaded guilty April 26 to credit or debit card abuse and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Low approved the deal. Jason Schoel was the attorney.

Victor I. Tijani, 25, had a credit card or debit card abuse (SJF) charge dismissed April 21. Whalen presided. Jason Shoel was the attorney.

DWI

Brett Lee Smith, 30, had a driving while intoxicated charge with child under age 15 years of age dismissed April 26. Judge John Shrode presided. Jason Leach was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST

Luis Mario Espinoza Romero, 23, was granted community supervision dismissal and discharge April 16 on the charge of evading arrest detention with vehicle (F3). Judge John W. Smith presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Tony Joe Laureano, 33, pleaded guilty April 21 to evading arrest detain with previous conviction and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Shrode approved the deal. Luis A. Chavez was the attorney.

FRAUD

Pablo Carrasco, 26, pleaded guilty April 21 to fraud use/possession identifying info # items, less than 5, and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. Low approved the deal. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

HARASSMENT OF PUBLIC SERVANT

Alfonso Montoya, 40, pleaded guilty April 22 to harassment of public servant (F3) and was sentenced to five years probation and 10 years in prison (suspended). Whalen approved the deal. Matthew Pospisil was the attorney.

HINDER SECURED CREDITORS

Michael Anthony Baker, 46, pleaded guilty April 26 to hinder secured creditors, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000, and was sentenced to 730 days in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. Justin Wayne Low was the attorney.

INDECENCY WITH A CHILD EXPOSES

David Ray King, 64, had an indecency with a child exposes charge dismissed April 21. Whalen presided. Audie M. Reese and Michael Paul Lemond were the attorneys.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE CHARGE

Adam Nunez, 36, pleaded guilty April 23 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Rush approved the deal. Matt L. Thomas was the attorney.

Aileen Deleon, 20, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, less than one gram, dismissed April 23. Whalen presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Allan Hinojos Caballero, 24, pleaded guilty April 22 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Low approved the deal. Robert V. Garcia was the attorney.

Angel Ryan Moriel, 25, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, more than one gram, but less four grams, dismissed April 27. Shrode presided. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Corey Roes, 34, pleaded guilty April 26 to possession of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, and was sentenced to six years probation and deferred adjudication. Low approved the deal. Jason Schoel was the attorney.

Amanda Dawn Farmer, 29, had an aggravated robbery charge dismissed April 28. Rush presided. Alan B. Harris was the attorney.

Jeremy Ortiz, 29, pleaded guilty April 17 to robbery and was sentenced to two years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Jason Leach was the attorney.

SEXUAL ABUSE OF A CHILD

David Ray King, 64, had a two counts sexual abuse of a child continuous, victim under 14 (F1) charges dismissed April 21. Whalen presided. Audie M. Reese, Tony Chavez, and Michael Paul Lemond were the attorneys.

STALKING

Brian Hunt, 48, had a stalking charge dismissed April 27. Low presided. Violet Latawn White was the attorney.

THEFT

Cody Carl T Clark, 26, pleaded guilty April 23 to theft – aggregated and was sentenced to six years in prison. Low approved the deal. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

Eduardo Levario Nicolas, 18, pleaded guilty to theft and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Jesse Russell, Jr., 38, pleaded guilty April 26 to theft with priors and was sentenced to 20 months in state jail. Low approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

Cameron Taylor Baker, 27, pleaded guilty April 23 to unauthorized use of vehicle and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Rush approved the deal. Johanna Curry was the attorney.

Cody Carl Clark, 26, had two counts of an unauthorized use of vehicle charges dismissed April 23. Low presided. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

Francis Obrien Boone, 23, pleaded guilty April 26 to unauthorize use of vehicle and was sentenced to 16 months in state jail. Smith approved the deal. Jason Schoel was the attorney.

Nathan Zane Bright, 33, pleaded guilty April 28 to unauthorize use of vehicle and was sentenced to six months in state jail. Whalen approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

UNLICENSED POSSESSION FIREARM BY FELON

Francisco Javier Garza Prieto, 57, pleaded guilty April 21 to unlicensed possession firearm by felon and was sentenced to three years in prison. Shrode approved the deal.
