ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: June 14, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ABANDON ENDANGER CHILD

Lacy Darlene Howell, 23, pleaded guilty June 8 to an abandon endanger child (FV) and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. BJ Brown was the attorney.

ASSAULT

Izaha Tremail Norman, 25, pleaded guilty June 9 to assault family/house member impede breath/circulation and was sentenced to seven years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

Randy Paul Walker, Jr., 44, had an assault by strangulation dismissed June 7. Shrode presided.

ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

David Allen Whitehead, 51, pleaded guilty June 9 to engaging in organized criminal activity and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the attorney.

Jaren Scott Brians, 35, pleaded guilty June 9 to engaging in organized criminal activity and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the attorney.

EVADING ARREST

Cruz Esteban Sanchez, 43, pleaded guilty June 3 evading on foot with prior conviction and was sentenced to 18 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

FORGERY

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Terrance Dujuan Williams, 38, had his probation revoked May 27 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge John W. Smith approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Thomas Jordan Gamboa, 21, was granted community dismissal and discharge June 9 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Smith approved the deal. Luis A. Chavez was the attorney.

RETALIATION

ROBBERY

Fabian Francisco Gutierrez, 23, pleaded guilty June 4 to two counts of aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Whalen approved the deal. Jason Leach was the attorney.

THEFT

SECURING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENT BY DECEPTION

Tama Denise Jackson, 53, was granted community supervision dismissal and discharge June 4 on the charge of securing execution of document by deception (GJI)(SJF). Whalen presided. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM

Ruben Antonio Marquez, 26, pleaded guilty June 2 to two counts of unlawful possession of firearm by felon and was sentenced to four years in prison. Rush approved the deal.

UNAUTHORIZE USE OF VEHICLE
