ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: December 6, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ASSAULT

Brittany Deshae Leverette, 23, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to assault public servant and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Adrian Chavez was the attorney.

Cody Ray Salinas, 28, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed Nov. 30. Judge Justin Low presided.

David Ryan Dearick, 32, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Bobby Mims was the attorney.

Jose Elias Rojas Betancourt, 36, had two counts of an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charges dismissed Nov. 17. Judge James Rush presided.

Jose Morales, 21, pleaded guilty Nov. 30 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to two years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Luis Humberto Vasquez, 24, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

BURGLARY

Tina Roland, 55, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to burglary of building and was sentenced to nine months in state jail. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

CONTINUOUS VIOLENCE

Luis Arturo Jimenez, 45, had a continuous violence against the family charge dismissed Nov. 19. Judge John Shrode presided.

DWI

Brook Ashley Corralez, 29, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal Nov. 15 on the charge of driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Ramiro Rodriguez, Jr., 38, pleaded guilty Nov. 29 to driving while intoxicated, third or more and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal.

EVADING ARREST

Dylan Evading Kerr, 23, was acquitted by jury Nov. 16 on the charge of evading arrest detain with vehicle. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Gilberto Enriquez Lujan, 20, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to evading arrest detain with vehicle (F3) and was sentenced to four years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Michael Louis McLeaish was the attorney.

Jesus Javier Ramirez, 55, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal Nov. 22 on the charge of evading arrest detain with vehicle. Judge John W. Smith presided.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Quincy Allen Ervin, 47, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to fail to comply sex off duty to register with previous IAT and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

MANUFACTURE DELIVERY

Christian Adrian Gandarilla, 24, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams and was sentenced to five years probation and eight years in prison (suspended). Judge John Shrode approved the deal. Michael Louis McLeaish was the attorney.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Aldo Ariel Samaniego, 38, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, more than one gram, but less than four grams, dismissed Nov. 29. Judge John Shrode presided.

Armando Meza Duran, 48, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal Nov. 24 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Judge James Rush presided. Kevin Acker was the attorney.

Edward Earl Brady, 61, pleaded guilty Nov. 19 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Francisco Alvarez, 25, was granted community supervision discharge and dismissal Nov. 24 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram. Judge James Rush presided. Luis A. Chavez was the attorney.

Heber Sanchez, 30, had his probation rules amended Nov. 9 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to three years probation. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Gary Garrison was the attorney.

Joshua Salgado Navarrette, 38, pleaded guilty Nov. 12 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams, (F3) and was sentenced to five years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Matt L. Thomas was the attorney.

Roy Lee Williams, 49, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, (SJF) and was sentenced to 15 months in state jail. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

Steve Royce Hooper, 62, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to nine months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.

TAMPER/FABRICATE

Christopher Peneda Subia, 48, pleaded guilty Nov. 30 to tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and was sentenced to two years in prison. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal

Edward Earl Brady, 61, had a tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair (F3) charge dismissed Nov. 19. Judge John Shrode presided.

THEFT

Rosalinda Ontiveros Salcido, 62, pleaded guilty Nov. 18 to theft property, less than $2,500 two more previous conviction and was sentenced to nine months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal.
