ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS: August 23, 2021

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed. The prosecuting attorney was not listed unless otherwise stated.

ASSAULT

Andrew B. Shelby, 47, had an assault family/household member previous conviction IAT charge dismissed July 20. Judge Tryon D. Lewis presided.

Daniel Christian Martinez, 31, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to assault fam/house member impede breath/circulation and was sentenced to five years probation and 10 years in prison (suspended). Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Eddie Philip Hernandez, 31, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to assault family/house member impede breath/circulation and was sentenced to two years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. BJ Brown was the attorney.

Jacqueline Kate Parham, 32, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Robert Newton Bland, IV was the attorney.

Krisstopher Alan Rubio, 25, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to two counts of aggravated assault with deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Tommy W. Hull was the attorney.

Mark Anthony Anzaldua, 32, had an assault family/house member impede breath/circulation charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge Justin Low presided. Matt L. Thomas was the attorney.

Melissa Carrasco Sierra, 55, pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to aggravated assault with deadly weapon (F2) and was sentenced to 10 years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Jason Leach was the attorney.

Spencer LScott Buckley, 30, had an aggravated assault with deadly weapon charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Stacey Shane Greer, 50, was granted dismissal and discharge Aug. 9 on the charge of assault family/house member impede breath/circulation. Judge James Rush presided. Christina Jimenez was the attorney.

Todd David Godwin, 29, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to two counts of aggravated assault against public servant and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

BURGLARY

Joe Richard Ochoa, 52, pleaded guilty Aug. 16 to burglary of building and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge James Rush approved the deal. Don R. Fletcher was the attorney.

CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

Ladarius Devontai Ward, 32, had a credit or debit card abuse (SJF) charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge John Shrode presided. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

DWI

Frank Daniel Garcia, 54, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to driving while intoxicated, third or more, and was sentenced to four years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Jesus Manuel Ramos, 37, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to drinking while intoxicated, third or more and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

Juan David Villa, 40, was granted dismissal and discharge Aug. 10 on the charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more. Judge Bill McCoy presided. David Zavoda was the attorney.

Naomi Payen Orona, 61, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age and was sentenced to three years probation and two years in state jail (suspended). Tony Chavez was the attorney.

Steven Linley Hale, 34, pleaded guilty Aug. 9 to drinking while intoxicated and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

ENDANGERING A CHILD

Leighann Pierce, 20, had an endangering a child (SJF) charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

ENGANGE IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

Ranie Dawn McCarty, 30, had an engage in organized criminal activity charge dismissed Aug. 11. Judge Justin Low presided.

EVADING ARREST

Paul Sandate Jr., 39, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to evading arrest detain with vehicle and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

FRAUD

Ladarius Devontai Ward, 32, had two counts of fraud use or possession of identifying information (SJF) charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge John Shrode presided. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

MANUFACTURE DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Paul Sandate Jr., 39, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Anthony Rene Rivera, 40, pleaded guilty Aug. 9 to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, more than four grams, but less than 200 grams, and was sentenced to five years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Mike Holmes was the attorney.

David Charles Lewis, 61, was granted dismissal and discharge Aug. 12 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, (SJF). Judge Denn Whalen presided. Spencer Dobbs was the attorney.

Eric James Morales, 24, pleaded guilty Aug. 4 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to six months in state jail in an order adjudicating guilt. Judge W. Stacy Trotter approved the deal. Feliz Abalos was the attorney.

Haidee Soto, 35, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, less than four grams, and was sentenced at four years in prison. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Daniel Sarabia Jr. was the attorney.

Jerimiah James Gallegos, 43, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to 10 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Felix Neboh was the attorney.

Joel Diaz Lopez, 37, pleaded guilty Aug. 11 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and was sentenced to six months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal. Daniel Sarabia Jr. was the attorney.

Mark Ybarra Flores, 47, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, less than one gram, dismissed Aug. 9. Judge Justin Low presided.

Nikki Rae Gonzales, 22, pleaded guilty Aug. 12 to possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, less than four grams, and was sentenced to three years probation and deferred adjudication. Judge John W. Smith approved the deal. Phillip Wildman Jr. was the attorney.

Sandy Lynn Sykes, 45, had a possession of a controlled substance charge, less than one gram, (SJF) dismissed Aug. 9. Judge James Rush presided.

SALE OF STOLEN REGULATED MATERIAL

D’allen Renae Corbell, 39, had a sale of stolen regulated material charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge John Shrode presided. Adrian Chavez was the attorney.

SECURE EXECUTION DOCUMENT DECEPTION

Dolores Gavaldeon, 55, was granted dismissal and discharge Aug. 12 on the charge of secure execution document deception, more than $20,000, but less $100,000. Judge Denn Whalen presided. Lawrence Barber Jr. was the attorney.

TAMPER/FABRICATE

Juan Jesus Garcia, 55, had a tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair (F3) charge dismissed Aug. 17. Judge John Shrode presided.

THEFT

Brandt Edward McLendon, 37, had a theft of firearm charge dismissed Aug. 16. Judge Denn Whalen presided. D. Bret Mansur was the attorney.

Ladarius Devontai Ward, 32, pleaded guilty Aug. 17 to theft property, more than $2,500, but less than $30,000 and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Judge John Shrode approved the deal.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

Alexander Hinojos, 31, pleaded guilty Aug. 9 to unauthorize use of vehicle and was sentenced to 15 months in state jail. Judge Justin Low approved the deal.

Ladarius Devontai Ward, 32, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of vehicle and was sentenced to 12 months in state jail. Judge John Shrode presided.

UNLICENSED POSSESSION FIREARM BY FELON

Sonny Ray Nabarrette, 49, had an unlicensed possession firearm by felon charge dismissed Aug. 3. Judge Justin Low presided.
