ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: May 7, 2018

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on May 7, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

ASSAULT ON PUBLIC SERVANT

  • Dora Hampton, 39, was indicted on a charge of assault on a public servant, a third-degree felony.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ABUSE

  • Josue Claudio Morales, 26, was indicted on a charge of credit card abuse, a state jail felony.
  • Shelby Rebekah Swinford, 26, was indicted on charges of debit card abuse, fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and two counts of unauthorized use of a vehicle, all of which are state jail felonies.

DIVERSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Randall Glen Gee, 61, was indicted on a charge of diversion of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Antonio Valenzuela Morales, 47, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

EVADING ARREST

  • Cedric Tywon Vester, 22, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a previous conviction, a state jail felony.
  • Isaiah Bernard Martinez, 24, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
  • Daniel Arenas, 33, was indicted on a charge of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony.

FAILURE TO APPEAR

  • Vessella Cabrilla Pride, 27, was indicted on a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third-degree felony.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

  • Kimberly Deann Mahoney, 43, was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, a state jail felony.

MURDER

  • Jesus Cajica Zermeno, 28, was indicted on charges of murder, a first-degree felony; and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Tatum Scott Taylor, 30, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a third-degree felony.
  • Yuri Briones Saenz, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony.
  • Brandon Jarome Shaw, 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Trey Kordell Scott, 32, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Ninfa A. Ramirez, 51, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Sammy Rocha Jr., 24, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Alex Reyna, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Daniel R. Marquez, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Ricardo Ortiz Brito, 31, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Amanda Marie Williford, 26, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Auden Rodriguez Tercero, 21, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Jaime Heriberto Montoya Melchor, 25, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram; and driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Roberto Juan Hernandez, 34, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Love Hambrick Jr., 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Justin Tarango Gonzalez, 26, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Paige Tori Betters, 23, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Ramon James Becerra, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

  • Spencer Deshon White, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
  • Victoria Maria Gomez, 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.

SEX OFFENDER DUTY TO REGISTER

  • Cody Brett Rand, 33, was indicted on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements, a second-degree felony.

  • Jose Luis Torres, 43, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Mike Colunga Sanchez III, 36, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Marcus D. Lambert Jr., 27, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Robbie Flores, 42, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Paris Vonzell Berry, 49, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.

THEFT

  • Timothy Andrew Burris, 28, was indicted on a charge of theft from a person, a state jail felon

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM

  • Camron Bruce Sawyer, 21, was indicted on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and prohibited substance or item in a correctional facility, both of which are third-degree felonies.
