ECTOR COUNTY FELONY INDICTMENTS: March 19, 2018

The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on March 19, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.

ASSAULT

  • Damon Andre Alford, 23, was indicted on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a charge of burglary of a habitation, all of which are second-degree felonies.
  • Dontea Deion George, 22, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, both of which are second-degree felonies; and a charge of deadly conduct, a third-degree felony.
  • Brandon Michael George, 23, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, both of which are second-degree felonies; and a charge of deadly conduct, a third-degree felony.
  • Armando Isaiah Quinonez, 18, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • Norma Yvette Overholt, 30, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.
  • Homero Valenzuela-Alvarez, 40, was indicted on a charge of assault by impeding breath or circulation (family violence), a third-degree felony.
  • Jesus Javier Ramirez, 51, was indicted on charges of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation and evading arrest with a vehicle, both of which are third-degree felonies.
  • Ambrose Defranco, 24, was indicted on a charge of assault of a family or household member by impeding breath or circulation, a third-degree felony.

BURGLARY

  • Fernando Evaristo Flores, 23, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony.
  • Linda Marlene Letcher, 68, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.

DEADLY CONDUCT

  • Anthony M. McKelvie, 24, was indicted on a charge of deadly conduct by discharging a firearm, a third-degree felony.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Gilberto Alfonso Grijalva, 32, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • Lorenzo Vasquez Medina, 45, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
  • John Theodore Moya, 31, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.

EVADING ARREST

  • Christopher Aaron Davidson, 46, was indicted on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle, a third-degree felony; and unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH REGISTRATION

  • Brodie James Nelson, 30, was indicted on a charge of failure to comply with registration requirements, a third-degree felony.

FAILURE TO RENDER AID

  • Donna Davidson, 71, was indicted on a charge of failure to stop and render aid causing bodily injury, felony unassigned.

FORGERY

  • Donnie Wayne Brownlee Jr., 44, was indicted on a charge of forgery, a state jail felony.
  • Michael Heath McBride, 36, was indicted on charges of forgery of a financial instrument and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, less than five items, both of which are state jail felonies.

INJURY TO CHILD/ELDERLY/DISABLED PERSON

  • Elmo Dshon Starling, 34, was indicted on a charge of injury to a child, elderly or disabled person with intent to cause bodily injury, a third-degree felony.

OBSTRUCTION/RETALIATION

  • Braden Porter, 25, was indicted on a charge of obstruction or retaliation, a third-degree felony.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

  • Zamiah Lanelle Cruz, 19, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, a state jail felony.
  • Roman Tobar, 22, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), four ounces or more but less than five pounds, a state jail felony.
  • Rojelio Garcia Tobar Jr., 24, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), four ounces or more but less than five pounds, a state jail felony.
  • Jessie Marie Talley, 38, was indicted on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Christopher Eric Ellsworth, 26, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Richard Gutierrez, 36, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD

  • Brandon Lee Ross, 21, was indicted on a charge of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.

SEX OFFENDER DUTY TO REGISTER

  • Charles Mello, 46, was indicted on a charge of failure to comply with sex offender duty to register every 90 days for life, a second-degree felony.

  • Rhonda Dawn Harper, 45, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and forgery of a financial instrument and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Veronica Mendoza Navarette, 41, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
  • Deanna D. Coffee, 54, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and theft of property with two or more previous convictions and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Jamie Elizabeth Hutchinson, 33, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third-degree felony.
  • Ysmael Manuel Beltran, 37, was indicted on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.

  • Javier Maldonado, 31, was indicted on charges of tampering with a governmental record (insurance document), a third-degree felony; and fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, less than five items, a state jail felony.

THEFT

  • Yesica Ivonne Castillo, 39, was indicted on three counts of theft, all of which are state jail felonies.
  • Johnny Paul Green, 46, was indicted on two counts of theft, both of which are state jail felonies.
  • Marinda Paige Baker, 46, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Pablo Ortiz, 57, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Rusty Melvin Beavers, 41, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
  • Justin Wayne Sovil, 30, was indicted on a charge of theft of property, less than $2,500, with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

  • Chance Thompson, 23, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
