The following is a list of felony indictments by an Ector County grand jury on Jan. 5, 2018. The list does not include those who have yet to be arrested.
ABANDON/ENDANGER CHILD
- Danielle Larez, 33, was indicted on four counts of abandoning and endangering a child with criminal negligence, all of which are state jail felonies.
- Nolyn Wayne McMaryion, 34, was indicted on four counts of endangering a child with criminal negligence, all of which are state jail felonies.
ASSAULT
- Eric Garcia Muniz, 37, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony.
- Ralph Anthony Torres Sr., 58, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (family violence), a second-degree felony.
- Elizama Corrales Castillo, 33, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault of a date, family or household member with a deadly weapon (family violence), a first-degree felony.
- James David McCurdy, 53, was indicted on charges of aggravated assault on a public servant, a first-degree felony; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony.
BURGLARY
- Kiara Monique Davis, 28, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
- Tatyana Hudson, 23, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony.
- Thomas Harry Gorecki III, 43, was indicted on two counts of burglary of a habitation, both of which are second-degree felonies.
- Alfonso Munoz Ortega, 29, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation, a first-degree felony.
- Robert Noah Lopez, 20, was indicted on a charge of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony, a first-degree felony.
- Brandon Odale Whatley, 37, was indicted on charges of burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony; fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, more than five items but less than 10 items, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
- Kenneth Lynn Taliaferro, 47, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Donald G. Stroope, 52, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Daniel Santiago Martinez Jr., 34, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Leticia Lujan, 51, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Adolfo Garcia Salcedo, 34, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Sergio Guzman Carrasco, 35, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Kelly Dane Lowrey, 49, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Daniel Vasquez Jr., 35, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Armando Ceneros Marichalar, 53, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
- Cesar Raul Jacob, 49, was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more, a third-degree felony.
INJURY TO ELDERLY
- Christopher Shane Chandler, 27, was indicted on a charge of injury to an elderly person (family violence), a third-degree felony.
INTERFERENCE WITH CHILD CUSTODY
- Kiarra Chantal Strickland, 23, was indicted on a charge of interference with child custody, a state jail felony.
MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Alexia Bauer, 30, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a second-degree felony.
- Oscar Garcia, 32, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony.
- Johnny Charles Wise, 30, was indicted on charges of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a first-degree felony; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair and possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, both of which are third-degree felonies.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
- Chana Kay Long, 29, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- David Gonzalez Rodriguez, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Kyle Michael Avey, 38, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Fermin Gonzalez, 40, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Christopher Daniel Galindo, 24, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Nichole Michelle Garcia, 33, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Krista Ann Cuellar, 30, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Jose Angel Salgado, 28, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Cameron Helms, 21, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Reydesel Marquez-Ortiz, 32, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams; and evading arrest with a vehicle, both of which are third-degree felonies.
- Anthony Dean McDowell, 27, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams, a third-degree felony.
- Joseph Lee Lucero, 26, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, a second-degree felony.
PROHIBITED SUBSTANCE/ITEM IN CORRECTIONAL FACILITY
- Jolene Audrey Gutierrez, 32, was indicted on charges of prohibited substance or item in a correctional facility, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.

- Ezekiel S. Galvan, 31, was indicted on a charge of prohibited weapon, a third-degree felony.
STALKING
- James Michael Jared, 39, was indicted on a charge of stalking, a third-degree felony.
- Adalberto Rivera Olivas, 40, was indicted on a charge of stalking, a third-degree felony.
- Gerald Castillo Payan, 41, was indicted on a charge of stalking, a third-degree
felony.
TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
- Edwardo Perez Rodriguez, 32, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
- Jorge Orlando Rivero, 33, was indicted on charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair, a third-degree felony; and possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, a state jail felony.
TAMPER WITH GOVERNMENT RECORD
- Fernando Avelar Gallegos, 37, was indicted on a charge of tampering with a governmental record, a third-degree felony.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
- Kortnie Elaine McDuffey, 23, was indicted on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM
- Tiffany Diana Rios, 30, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.
