ECTOR COUNTY FELONY DISPOSITIONS Feb. 5, 2018

The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed.

ASSAULT

  • William Farrell Jr., 56, was sentenced to five years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 17 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault (family violence). Judge Stacy Trotter approved the deal. Robert Hollmann was the defense attorney. The prosecuting attorney was not listed.
  • Wesley Donovan King, 23, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 17 on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Judge Denn Whalen approved the deal. Bret Mansur was the defense attorney. The prosecuting attorney was not listed.
  • Ricky Tipton, 35, pleaded guilty Jan. 18 to aggravated assault and had his probation revoked. Tipton was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Whalen approved the deal. Mike Holmes was the defense attorney and Clay George was the prosecutor.
  • Matthew Lee Ornelas, 20, was sentenced to five years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 19 on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Trotter approved the deal. J. Roxane Blount was the defense attorney. The prosecuting attorney was not listed.

BURGLARY

  • Jesse Ryan Galindo, 24, pleaded guilty Jan. 18 to burglary of a habitation and abandoning or endangering a child and had his probation revoked. Galindo was sentenced to four years in prison and eight months in state jail, respectively, on those charges. Trotter approved the deal. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

  • Tamieka Standberry, 22, was sentenced to three years in prison in an order adjudicating guilt Jan. 16 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, one gram or more but less than four grams.   • Adrian David Valenzuela, 26, pleaded guilty Jan. 18 to possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and had his probation revoked.
