The following is a list of felony dispositions from the Ector County District Clerk’s Office. Listed attorneys do not necessarily represent who was involved when the case was disposed.

ASSAULT

  • Victoria Galindo Cortez, 27, had a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed March 28 because the victim could not be located. Judge James Rush presided. Kevin Acker was the defense attorney. The prosecuting attorney was not listed.
  • Louis Mathis, 29, had two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon dismissed March 28, and a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon dismissed April 2 because the victim would not cooperate with prosecution and the case could not be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
